This is a unique opportunity to engage in a research project with students from WLCE Network.

The students will be conducting ethnographic research in the city of Hangzhou, China, reporting on their experiences as a tourist during the programme. The students will also have the chance to participate in the 4th WLO Expo and Forum "Leisure City, Better Life" and hear from speakers on the topic of leisure studies.

Programme (19 - 25, October 2019)

19 October - arrival day and get to know each other

20 October - WLO Expo and Forum

21 and 22 October - data collection and report writing

24 October - prepare a presentation, closing off the research opportunity

25 October - departure day
