Thesis Presentation: Di Shan

Thesis Title: An Analysis of the Push/Pull Travel Motivations of Canadian Older Adults

The Master of Arts in Sustainable Leisure Management, in conjunction with our World Leisure Centre of Excellence is pleased to introduce Di Shan, Graduate Student in progress, who will be presenting her research and thesis. 

Due to the growing number of older tourists and their substantial disposable income, older adults’ tourism development has become an important sector. The development of older adults’ tourism is specifically beneficial to both older adults and tourism marketers. The purpose of this research is to identify the motivations of Canadian older travelers and contributing insights into their reasons for traveling.
