17th World Leisure Congress 2022

Special session and abstract submission key dates

The upcoming 17th World Leisure Congress 2022 whose main theme is “Learn well, live well”  will take place in Dunedin, New Zealand, from 12-16 December 2022
 
This year, the organizing committee and host of the event will be the WLCE University of Otago, they just launched the key dates for contributions from the academia and industry alike that engage with the potential of leisure to contribute to the ability to both learn well and live well.
 
In this regard, from WLO we would like to extend our invitation for you to consider applying to one of the calls that has been launched and that will open in the upcoming months:
 
Call for special session proposals  Deadline: 1 September 2021
Within the main Congress programme, World Leisure Congress 2022 will feature special sessions (90 minutes) that could be run in different ways, such as debates, discussion forums, workshops, etc. 
 
Call for abstracts Open call: 1 November 2021 – 8 February 2022
Following a review of the special session proposals, a call for abstracts will open on 1 November 2021. This is the time when individuals can submit abstracts that either relate to a specifically named session, or which align more broadly with the congress themes.
