Webinar and report on economic need for healthy oceans - April 29

The David Suzuki Foundation invites you to attend a free, one-hour webinar on April 29 at 1pm about the economic need to maintain healthy oceans. It will feature resource and ecological economists Dr. Kai Chan, Michelle Molnar, Ngaio Hotte and Sarah Klain. To register, please go to: http://goo.gl/forms/T3rzCqlx0G

We are offering this webinar for the launch of our new report, "Making our coasts work: healthy oceans, healthy economies, healthy communities”, the fourth in a series of reports from the David Suzuki Foundation, Living Oceans Society and WWF-Canada on marine planning and protection. This report discusses the important and often under-valued role that healthy ocean ecosystems provide to the economy of British Columbia. We encourage you to share and discuss this report with your colleagues and to give us feedback on the content.

You can find “Making our coasts work” online at:http://www.davidsuzuki.org/marineeconomy
