Carleigh Randall is a researcher with broad tourism and recreation experience, much of it on Vancouver Island. Specifically, she has research interests in parks and protected area management, visitor experience, marine tourism, recreation, destination management, rural development through wine tourism networks, network anlaysis and research knowledge mobilization between university-parks agencies.
Currently she is a post-doctoral associate with the Protected Areas and Poverty Reduction Research Alliance project, housed at the Institute for Coastal Reasarch, Vancouver Island University. In the Landscape Level Ecosystem-Based Management research team, she is leading the Gulf Islands ecosystem case study.
