The Virtual Island Summit is a free and entirely online event designed to connect global islands to share their common experiences through a digital platform.
What is the Island Summit?
- A free event that aims to maximize accessibility;
- An engaging event, in which participants will have the opportunity to engage with speakers and one another, through interactive sessions;
- A diverse range of ideas and solutions, to reflect the diversity of island communities worldwide;
- A zero-carbon conference;
- An event that will address the Sustainable Development Goals and other topics relevant to island communities;
- A cross-sector collaboration, encouraging partnerships from across private, public, academic, and NGO sectors.
The various online events will take place 6 - 11th September 2020 and the registration is open. This is a free event but spaces are limited, so it is best if you can reserve your spot asap!
