IISAAK Talks - An initiative from the IISAAK OLAM Foundation

The IISAAK Talks is a series of short educational videos about Indigenous-led conservation and the teachings that can help us cope with the COVID19 pandemic.

The IISAAK OLAM Foundation facilitates the development of sustainable and resilient communities, builds healthy and equitable relationships between Indigenous and newcomer societies, and highlights Indigenous solutions for reconciling humanity’s relationship with the environment.

The IISAAK Talks, launched on March 27, is a series of short educational videos about Indigenous-led conservation and the teachings that can help us cope with the COVID19 pandemic.

This series is intended for broad dissemination: Videos can be used as complementary curriculum for high school and post-secondary courses in classroom or home-school settings, by civil society organizations, the private sector, and non-Indigenous governments who wish to build capacity around Indigenous-led conservation, and by members of the general public who wish to learn more about how they can make a positive contribution to the society, biodiversity, and reconciliation.
