How have you coped with COVID-19 stress?

Complete the online survey and enter to win a $500 leisure equipment package!

COVID-19 and related public health measures have disrupted all aspects of life, including how we work, play, and spend time with family and friends. A team of researchers from Vancouver Island University's Dept. of Recreation and Tourism and the World Leisure Centre of Excellence are conducting a study to better understand how Canadians used leisure (sport, recreation, arts and culture, crafting etc.) to cope with the stress caused by the strictest COVID public health measures (e.g., physical distancing and closure of schools/services/businesses).

We are hoping that you will take approximately 35-45 minutes to complete our survey that explores your leisure participation, COVID related impacts, and the ways that you use leisure to cope with stress. We are also hoping that you will share the survey with your friends, family, and colleagues.

Participants of the study can enter to win a $500 leisure equipment package!!

The purpose of this research is to better inform leisure service delivery, information sharing, and to help Canadians who may face similar public health measures in the future.
